پردہ آنکھوں سے ہٹانے میں بڑی دیر ہوئی

رنگِ دنیا نظر آنے میں بڑی دیر ہوئی

جس سے امید وفا تھی مرے قابل ہی نہ تھا

دل کو یہ بات بتانے میں بڑی دیر ہوئی
