ٙغزل

وہ اپنی شاعری بھی کاش میرے نام دے ڈالے،

مجھے ایسے کوئی چاہے کہ جو اکرام دے ڈالے..

میں پھر اس کی محبت کے بھنور میں ڈوبتا جاؤں،

کبھی جو اتفاقا وہ نظر کا جام دے ڈالے..

وہ ہستی زندگی کی شب میں اک قندیل جیسی ہو،

جلا کر دل کو اپنے روشنی کی شام دے ڈالے..

مری پلکوں سے اس کی یاد میں موتی اگر برسیں،

ستارے گنگنائیں اور ہوا پیغام دے ڈالے..

اویس وہ بھی بھلا نہ دے، مجھے بھی پاسِ وعدہ ہو،

کہانی جب سنے کوئی، وفا کا نام دے ڈالے..
